Infinitus is a stringed group based out of Vancouver, British Columbia. The group thrives at making new sounds with their instruments and voices to create a blend of classical, hip hop and pop music that's uniquely their own. When they aren't playing shows, they are playing schools as a part of an outreach program. Infinitus play schools that might not have heard of the arts or music as a viable solution to violence and crime.  They all individually teach music as well.

Debbie Levitt has hosted and maintained a website dedicated to Neil Finn and Crowded House for 20 years. She also works in the field of UX (User Experience). When companies design apps or software, Debbie is hired to make sure the app is useable and works for people with disabilities as well as the people it was designed for. She's a web protagonist! As a fan of Neil Finn and all his other endeavours, I discovered the frenz.com website. it's there that I check in on what's happening in the world of Neil Finn and Crowded House. Debbie is also a voice over actor and worked a bit as a tour manager back in the day. A great chat and an interesting guest!

Eric Weller is an educator based in Thunder Bay Ontario. He teaches film studies at the school he originally took the course at. Before that, Eric owned and operated a record label called "Meathead Records". the label was started to support his favourite band "Head Cramp", one of Thunder Bays greatest exports in my opinion. Eric put out several compilations and albums to help the Thunder Bay scene as well as bands all over Canada. If Frank from Crocks & Rolls was the grand daddy of Thunder Bay punk and indie music, Eric is surely the uncle! A great catch up with an old dear friend.

Rob Lanni is the co-founder of Coalition Music. Coalition is one of Canada's larger entertainment management companies. The company was formed primarily to support Rob's brother Arnold (Frozen Ghost, Sheriff) and his musical endeavours. After discovering Our Lady Peace, the company was on its way. Rob's function as a manager is to support the artist first and allow them to achieve their goals however big or small they might be. we sat down in one of the back rooms at Coalition music and had a great chat.

Theo started the band "GOB" with Tom Thacker in the early 90's. GOB became one of Canada's favourite punk bands with the song "Soda" being played every day on Much Music (Canada's MTV) on heavy rotation. GOB toured relentlessly across Canada and the USA playing to whomever would listen. They've put some great albums too! Theo is working on a solo album now using several friends in the Vancouver music scene as guest players. He was in the thick of recording when we taped this interview. There's no release date set yet, but there's no rush for what will most likely be an epic album!

Jodi Phillis and Trish Young formed the band "the clouds" in 1989. Based out of Sydney Australia, it only took them a few years to head across the ocean to North America. It was in 1992 when I by chance, met their drummer outside a hotel in Vancouver BC. That's where I became the Canadian Ambassador to "the clouds" I played their music to anyone that would listen.

After a 20 year hiatus, the clouds are releasing an EP titled "Zaffre" and are playing shows this spring and summer. The most notable show will be opening for Cyndi Lauper and Blonde April 1st-12th as part of the "Day on the Green Tour" in Australia. The EP is scheduled for release on March 31st. You can find the release on iTunes world-wide then.

It was great to actually meet Jodi and Trish and I wish them all the success and safe travels that might perhaps bring them here to mother Canada!

Dave Kiner is a respect person in the Toronto music community. He's played in several bands. One of the most notable ones for me was industrial overlords "Malhavoc". Dave has been acting in small and large screens now for almost 20 years. When he was a teenager, Dave found out that his uncle played in Buddy Rich's Band and might have been present for the famous tapes known as "The Buddy Rich Tapes" where he was secretly recorded screaming at his back up band.

Dave and I get caught up after not speaking for several years. He's a very knowledgable person when it comes to the conversation of music. He's a fan and creator. He's also a great chat!

Craig Northey found success in the late 80's and 90's with Western Canada's "odds". A great band that would be categorized in the Matthew Sweet, early Lenny Kravitz era of indie pop. The found huge success in the mid 90's with their album "Good Weird Feeling". A great band with even better songs. Besides odd's shows, Craig is in the television music scoring industry and has worked with the comedy group "kids in the hall" and countless other TV shows and Movies. Craig is also in a Canadian Super Group going by the name Trans Canada Highway men with Steven Page (ex Barenaked Ladies) Chris Murphy (Sloan) and Moe Berg (the Pursuit of Happiness). They're going to be on tour in Ontario this Spring. Check them out and enjoy this podcast

Liam Killeen grew up playing drums in bands and then realized that tour managing was his bag. After years of being on the road, he became a manager. He started out working for nothing and developed his skills. after helping the Canadian duo "USS" get a record deal and sell tons of albums in Canada he found his way in the Canadian music industry as a forward thinking, passionate artist manager. Liam claims that his career started cleaning the washroom in my recording studio in the late 90's, but Liam would have been successful with-out having to clean my washroom and coffee machine daily!
