Why can't Steve W think of any stocks that aren't tech stocks? Find out on this week's PlayingFTSE Show!

It's been a mighty week in the stock market, with a lot of the world's biggest companies reporting earnings. But we've got a much more exciting announcement to kick things off...

After that, it's time to get into the business of discussing stocks. Apple shares slipped after earnings this week, but should investors be worried about weak revenues from China, or positive on a rapidly-growing services business?

Amazon's earnings report was much more enthusiastically received. The company announced decent growth in both its AWS segment and its online advertising, so is the company still one to keep on the buying radar?

The stock market didn't like Alphabet's report quite so much. But is that just because the company hasn't announced a dividend, or were its numbers really that much worse than those put out my Amazon, Meta, and Microsoft.

Lastly, we're looking at Deckers -- who cares if it's a difficult time for consumer cyclicals, it's a tech stock like everything else. The new CEO will surely want to strike while the iron is hot and the share price is high and Steve and Steve have just the thing as an idea...
