  • 249 - Growth Creates Crisis

This may be one of the most important podcasts I’ve ever put out. What I know about my coaching programs is that we are going to help entrepreneurs grow businesses.  I say that with certainty because I know that’s what’s going to happen. I’ve been up the Billionaire Code more than once and I can tell you bluntly, growth is not simple or easy. We need to understand what the reality of growth means.  The path to success has massive pitfalls, growth creates crisis.

  • 248 - Three Step Calendar Success

I’m intimidated by calendars! I’ve always found it hard to grasp the concept of calendars and they give me a really hard time.  If you’re anything like me and calendars bother you or you just want a better take on how to strategically plan ahead, I’m going to talk you through a very simple three step process that you can use to calendar a day, a week or even a whole year. I’m excited for you to try this out!

  • 247 - Impulse Buys Kill Momentum

Impulse buys are simply one of the most distracting things you can do in business and in your life.  It’s most likely that the impulse buy isn’t going to give you the outcome you were wanting to achieve, it’s not going to feel like it’s moving you forward.  The chances of it being the right product or service at the time and the solution that you need are slim to none. When you do the homework and put your money into a strategic purchase your chances of being successful are exponentially greater than when you buy on impulse.

  • 246 - Don't Buy the Veneer

In the entrepreneurial world today there are tons of entrepreneurs who have created an image of success. They’re putting their best day out there and selling you on themselves and the image of how they live and how incredible everything is.  Everyone you see online is struggling with something, not one of them actually has the perfect life or perfect business because that doesn’t exist.  Billionaires don't become so by comparing themselves to others around them. Create a mantra for yourself, when you see someone’s success say “that’s inspirational but I’m going to compare myself to myself”.

  • 245 - Explode your Net Worth

Most entrepreneurs fail to focus on growing their net worth. The number one responsibility of your business is to create a profit. The second responsibility of your business is to increase your net worth. Far too many of us have grown up feeling like we shouldn’t talk about money and have a discomfort with money. Tracking and understanding net worth could be one of the biggest game changers in your life.

  • 244 - Expect Initiative and Proactivity

Once you’ve hired someone, how do you know that they’re the right person? There’s one filter I’ve always used and it’s never let me down. Expect initiative & proactivity.  When I hire a true believer I expect that that person will drive through anything they need to, contact who they need to contact, ask questions, do what they need to do and figure out how to get things done because I want them to show initiative and proactivity.  That’s how you build a world changing company and make your greatest contribution.

  • 243 - Instant Equity Increase

It’s important to have a business that’s built in a way that creates value, that makes it worth a high dollar value. What investors want to see is company documentation, they don’t just want to know the end result, they want to know the road you took to get there. If you can’t provide this documentation, it’s any easy way for your business to lose value.  Even if you’ve never considered selling, I want to show you how important having company documentation really is.

  • 242 - Fake Leaders Always Fail

So many times as entrepreneurs, we hire people to lead certain parts of our business but we don’t actually allow them to take the lead.  We create fake leaders, and that’s a certain way to have them fail. We want to understand everything that’s happening along the way, we don’t know how to pull back and let go.  Here’s a massive mind shift for you, the less you do, the more successful your company will be when it’s up and running. Give your team members more responsibilities and they will be more invested in the outcomes.

  • 241 - Out Develop your Competition

There is a ton of information out there to teach you how to sell. The challenge is that there’s not a lot of information and companies out there that teach you what type of product you should sell, products that will sell, how to develop products that will dominate your category and shut down the competition.  That is the type of product I like to sell and what I am obsessed with developing. I don’t want you to do well, or just do okay.  I want you to create a product that changes people's lives.
