The Colorado Avalanche addressed a need in acquiring Jonas Johansson from the Buffalo Sabres over the weekend. Now the question is are the Avalanche done dealing? With all the injuries the Avs have suffered over the season you would think they would want to bring in some extra bodies, but at the same time they are thin on draft picks and are in love with the majority of their prospects. So you could really see them doing either or.

I also got a very good comment from a follower, James, on Instagram who brings up the lack of respect the Avalanche seem to get from the national media. The fact is the Avs are not in a big market when it comes to hockey, but does that mean they can't win over the mass media and get the same recognition as markets like New York or LA?
