Armageddon Afterparty

The guys gather from afar to talk about Covid 19 masks, grocery store switcheroos, and the fact that Rett can’t seem to get any alone time. TJ is back at work. Rett is giving back to the community. Jon talks about Deadwood. And, they discuss their reactions to some of the public’s responses.

The guys harness all the powers of the internet to bring themselves together once again with slightly better sound quality than the last episode.  Things are really starting to devolve. TJ’s daughter is smearing feces.  Rett is wondering if people care about what he thinks.  Video teleconferencing is really driving the point home to Jon how fat he is.  The guys discuss Tiger King, share some quarantine accomplishments, and mourn the loss of Kenny Rogers and Bindi Irwin.  Rett is definitely starting a cult at work.  Jon sings the praises of eventual Karaoke and Cheesesteak at the VFW, and the guys look forward to that point in the future when things get back to normal.  

The guys are quarantined! So, we apologize for the sound quality on this one. Lil Skweeque and the Reverend Florist call in to The Bunker, where Dick Loverboy is trying his best to maintain his sanity. They discuss the liberal conspiracy that is the “Coronavirus,” and DLB talks about his river trip and his sanitization technique. The guys fondly remember Heads or Cocktails, and they discuss the ACC Shelter in Place ordinance.

Rett has overflowing toilets, which somehow flows into talk of the state of politics these days. Rett shares cat butt videos from the Internet. Life hurts Jon, and he talks about his old man liniment game. Rett joins a softball league. TJ watches back-cracking videos.

The guys welcome Adam to The Bunker as their first guest of 2020. TJ and Jon recall a harrowing tale of meeting a strange man in the middle of the night. Rett gives a pretty amazing bowling update. They discuss helicopter crashes and other rich people problems. Rett gives ANOTHER Whole30 update. They talk about some recent improv and Open Toad shows in Athens. Jon recounts an unsettling bathroom story. There is talk of the Super Bowl halftime show, putting kids in cages, George Jones, and Rett’s shelving situation.

The guys come together once again to talk about Drunk and Furious, get a Whole 30 update, and debate whether beatin’ is in fact, cheatin’. Rett gives some strong opinions on high school kids having sex. This episode really has everything: corrections, Whole 30, besmirchery, Billy Dee Williams, Adolf Hitler, Aaron Hernandez, Heads or Cocktails, lighting farts, dementia, and Iggy Pop’s penis. TJ makes some predictions for the 2019 college football season. Jon introduces a new segment called “Fat Piece of Shit News.” Jon gets pissy, then apologizes to TJ. Rett promptly accepts Jon’s apology, then interrupts him in the best possible way.

Welcome to 2020! We did it! The guys talk about resolutions. Rett talks about Whole 30. TJ appreciates Jon’s knowledge of gas station food. Rett and Jon talk about Midville. There is discussion of impeachment, RBG, Dumbo, The Mandalorian, the Muppet Movie, and Booksmart. Rett cannot pronounce the word “rabbi.”

The guys gather in The Bunker once again to discuss 90’s nostalgia in marketing, make some corrections, and revisit Octopus-gate. This leads to some memories of the Crunkard House. Rett has a new bowling ball. Jon returns to the Chinese Buffet. TJ is feeling down. Rett gives a stool sample. Jon discusses politics with his niece.
