With so many of us home from work and caring for our families, it’s the PERFECT time to reconnect and teach our families what empowered Armenian women look like! Take this opportunity to delegate and discuss plans to have a happy quarantine, by not relying on the women in the house to carry the load. Have meaningful conversations about what women’s roles are and how equity in the work place and at home will lift us all upward.

Financial abuse isn’t funny for the Armenian women. We are the matriarchs that’s will carry on the generations and we cannot “afford” to be financially abused. In this episode I will familiarize you with what financial abuse looks like, who is a vulnerable victim and how and why we should call it out!!

Nayiri is paving the way for young Armenian students by merely being an Armenian female presence on the Glendale unified school district board of education (GUSD). She shares with us the many ways she has engaged and empowered Armenian students both generally and specifically. She is also running again this year, election year and tells us why we should vote for her March 3rd. This is also my first interview, and how fitting for it to be long time friend Nayiri!

It’s time to take control of your respect. Respecting yourself and your boundaries is empowering and important work. What do you do when you know someone has disparaged you? Do you call it out or take the blow to the gut and let it fester there? I’m done with letting that just happen. If someone is going to embarrass themselves and me in public I’m calling it out and so should you. Enough is enough!

Gaslighting is done to Armenian women by Armenian women and men equally and it’s got to stop! Not only is it crazy making but it’s also “contagious” and generational. My own mom was gaslighted and believe me, all of our kids are watching how we little by little reduce the women to merely “making things up” and unreliable thinkers.
