“Bodied” is a term used by the police department to identify when someone is being body bumped into something or someone and is systematic dominance. It’s a form of physical and emotional abuse that isn’t widely recognized and backwards culture in nature. Has this be done to you?

In this episode I share, as usual, examples from life about how I have been event shamed. Planning for a family event is a joy for the Armenian woman to plan and no one deserves to be shamed for conducting an event the way she wants. Armenians have a tendency to do this exclusively to other women and it’s not ok. If you’ve ever experienced event shaming then this ones for you!!

Emotional debt is toxic, much like financial debt is toxic on our prosperity. Speaking to Armenian women in disparaging and toxic ways leads to sleepless nights and days filled with anxiety which do nothing to lead us forward in our world. Every Armenian woman has experienced this in some way or form wether or not it’s directly done by a family member, spouse or on social media from random strangers; it’s debilitating and needs to stop. In this episode, my very first (cut me some slack on it being so raw!!) I share a little bit of my story and how emotional debt is holding us back as Armenian women of the world, from our birth right of being the best selves we can be for our own and our community.
