Back in May of last year I tagged along with my friend that wanted to join a gym and get healthier. Little did I know I'd soon meet an individual who's drive and mentality spoke volumes to his success. 

Mike Torres is the owner and founder of Hero Performance, a multifaceted gym located in North Houston. Apart from his knowledge and experience in the health and fitness industry, it is his story and his persistence through challenges that will captivate and encourage you to work hard and run after your goals.

From overcoming obesity at the young age of 12 and becoming a teenage father – Mike chose to change his narrative and worked his way to becoming a successful serial entrepreneur and changed the course of his bloodline.

I don't know about you, but I have a really great feeling about this new year and not in ways of the past where the urgency to be better quickly fades out.
