It's the remix, Intaglio 2: The Streets! This week we wanted to throw it way back and give our first episode another try (since we have improved since day one) so we are looking at the little baby printing method of intaglio. The sisters talk cash money, discuss how much intaglio needs to be coddled and rock on with our ephemeral selves. And as always with printmaking it is process, process and more process!

This week, Art Club is visiting Jerusalem 2.0 aka the Churches at Lalibela in Ethiopia! It's one city with 11 legendary rock cut churches that were built by angels (probably) and may or may not have held the Arc of the Covenant (whom is quite dramatic). The sisters discuss the history and restoration issues at Lalibela and decide that the Old Testament is the best testament. Oh and the name means "the bees recognize your sovereignty" so original Queen Bee over here.

Also, my deepest apologizes for the lateness of this episode, thank you for understanding!
You're getting paid by the hour, so make it detailed as hell! This week Art Club is going old school with some rock-cut architecture (a la Abu Simbel, the ancient city of Petra and more). The Sisters Perry use all parts of the buffalo, create a new radio host dubbed The King of Kush and decide that the WHS (World Heritage Site, duh) is the new VIP. Oh and all the names are wonderful.

Welcome to the stage the incomparable, the always topical, #1 tire manufacturer in the world....Lego! For the sisters Perry, Lego feels like Christmas which makes it our perfect holiday treat (after Cricket on the Hearth). This week, we're going deep into Lego's plastic use and we learn that Legos have been to space. But really that we just want everything in miniature. Also, apparently, Laura does a mean elevator pitch which we will hopefully hear soon.

We discuss the sorted history of The Winter Palace (which is now the Hermitage Museum) located in St. Petersburg.
