Unifying creatives with purposeful action Linsey Gessner is a multifaceted performing artist and teacher.

Her work uses moving images and textured language to promote critical thinking and expand condition to perspectives years of researching creative practice provider work a multidimensional collective awareness which educates as well as entertains.

Focused on connecting artists with resources and exposure and creating inclusion while educating the community with compassion.

Linsey Speaks:

“Basically, I like a lot of things, and I love to celebrate life.

I love to celebrate difference and I love seeing both sides of many situations and I love to help others find peace and commonality in that opposition.

Because truly, my feeling is that there's a lot more union at the base level of many arguments and many differences and I think that what happens is; when we have a situation that creates a lot of difference, we become emotionally charged about another point of view.

It's usually based on fear and that fear stems from not understanding; so, there's a lack of knowledge when we are threatened by a different point of view.

I know this from watching young people; it’s really interesting to watch because, you get a glimpse at what adults act out.

School is a simple playground; we are really fighting for the same things and it's often arguments that showcase our fears.

I want to enter a deeper level.

I want to be the bridge.

WALLZ invites seven young performers to solve a difficult puzzle.

Examining important questions such as:

What does it mean to be Homeless?

Is there a difference between a "Home" and a House?

What is Freedom vs. Security? Watch as each piece finds its place and creates a living legacy.

WALLZ gained momentum in November of 2021 as a performance MasterClass taught and created by Linsey Gessner@Amberly Dance Theatre .

We are currently living in an age of extreme polarity and oftentimes it feels very confusing to navigate our personal boundaries while maintaining empathy.
