In this episode of Mythic Mel, Melinda talks about the wonderful, independent and fierce qualities of the Artemis, lunar goddess of the Hunt, whose wild medicine can help move us out of our overthinking minds into the wisdom of our bodies.

Using mythic imagination, Melinda suggests how Artemis energy can even play a role in a Reiki or healing session of any kind. This episode explores the "psychogeography" of Artemis' wild birthplace (and we'll learn more about that fancy term too) and suggests that we can learn a lot from the place and circumstances of our birth in terms of understanding ourselves and our conditioning better. This in turn helps us free ourselves from unconscious patterns or limiting beliefs. Melinda imagines what an "Artemis" type friend would be like. She shares how Artemis is the patron goddess of her own mother, and tells a story of their visit to the sacred birthplace of the deity.
