A podcast series where Cheyenne Tyler Jacobs and Astrid Ferguson will have some girl talk about books, business and everything under the sun within the sisterhood kingdom.
In this episode we talk about how we met and where we were in our creative process. We take you through the journey of how we started in a IG pod, to becoming mentor and mentee to now really close friends. Yes, you guys we met on the gram. Hashtag #wemetonthegram #thestruggle and we had drama in #thesestreets 👏 Glad to say those days are behind us.
We discuss how we had to let go of the fear, build confidence in ourselves and learn to be ok with saying, "No!" We share some of our favorite books that changed our lives and ultimately helped us build our businesses from the bottom. We only in maybe at the first floor now, but the foundation we have been laying down for a while by doubling down on our visions.
This weeks episode was a recording of passion and a cry for HELP!
Help to dismantle a system that consistently kills Black Lives and then allows their murderers to walk away. Over the course of this week we have seen numerous names come to life that have been covered due to lack of justice and media attention. These name include:
Nina Pop
Breonna Taylor
Ahmaud Abrery
Sean Reed
And of course these are only the names we know of...and that is the sad part. All of these listed murders took weeks, some even months for the general public to learn about. It took public outcry, posting, calling, anger, tears for SOME of these cases to be given their day in court.
This episode is addressing the same conversation that we have when someone is killed because of the color of their skin. It also touches on my personal perspective as far as the conversations we need to be having more of and the actions we need to be taking.

Well I have started multiple projects and try to start multiple creative endeavors. But, honestly what I was working on was SLEEP! Yes, you heard right I Cheyenne Tyler Jacobs cannot be in a relationship with Sleep Deprivation anymore. I have gave in too many times to thinking productivity was a sign of self-worth.
