Badon introduces the podcast with "E3", the gaming expo; it just finished up and we talk about their press conferences and their use of Keanu Reeves and Jon Bernthal (and his dog) in two new games coming out next year. This largely video game related conversation leads us into a conversation about video games being an art form due to the ever-increasing use of cinematics and motion capture. We dove into some film and television talk as well...Chernobyl in particular. Also...how can someone create a show based off of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster and only hire British actors?

We're continuing off of Episode 10 with a conversation on film and television exclusively. The author, Dennis Lehane, and the multiple adaptations of his books, David Fincher, and Jamie Dornan are just a few individuals we talk about in this episode. The final Rambo film, John Wick, Chernobyl, and a multitude of other films and shows are mentioned. On a darker note...why do films like Cannibal Holocaust and the Serbian Film exist? This week is a classic episode of continuously “digressing” from topic to topic. The uniformed group starts off talking about how some people support their political view and how debates can solve every problem if done correctly. We then discuss Isaac Kappy, Kit Harington, and some Game of Thrones/Star Wars talk. During all the rambling we find ourselves talking about China and how they suppress their citizens and how Huawei phones are banned in the U.S. We end the episode with Nuno talking about his weird New Jersey experience and what Badon thought about the movie 13th Child.

We have a pretty good and long talk about drugs; the legalization of marijuana, the dangers of opioids and other laced drugs, and the pharmaceutical industry in general. The drug talk leads Bryan to bring up a story about his family trip to Norway where his sister develops appendicitis. The second half of this episode involves a somewhat uninformed talk about politics. Besides the typical ramblings about Democrats and Republicans, we talk about abortion and Alabama's fascist new law used to control the uterus. And on top of that, we mention ASMR, Hisashi Ouchi, and an old convent with aborted babies underneath...crazy stuff.

Episode 8 "Aussies, Globalization, and Gun Control” by As We Digress

Is World War 3 coming? We converse about some recent political news (to the best of our abilities) and corruption. And we end up talking about the Stanford Prison Experiment as well as other social experiments. Is there really a correlation between the arrival of refugees in a country and the rise of violent crimes? Then we talk about Satan, sleep, and of course veganism...again. We argue with Bryan about whether or not humans are actually herbivores — not omnivores — and if ALL meat causes disease.

The four of us come off our last pod with a heavy discussion on religion. Why do people rely on faith? Why do people worship a book? We tackle the hypocrisy of religious individuals. Then...we take a turn...into aliens. UFO’s and extraterrestrials, the creation of humanity, some conspiracies, and more crazy stuff. Have a listen.
