HiCANYU is the "Uber" for Photography, an on demand service for hiring photographers at tourists locations.
An idea birthed during a 9 day visit to Asia, HiCANYU is the brainchild of Julian Labit, a full time stay at home dad and a Master of Science, Technology Commercialization (MSTC) student at the McCombs School of Business, The University of Texas at Austin.
HiCANYU is a wordplay from the often meekly heard phrase, ""Hi, Can You" take a photo for me please?" especially at tourist locations.
Julian and his partner, Shalesh entered a two minute elevator pitch to Pitch Texas, University of Texas at Austin's SXSW Graduate Startup Pitch Competition.
SXSW is annual conglomerate of film, interactive media, and music festivals and conferences that take place in mid-March in Austin, Texas, United States. They were then selected to be one of our 16 teams who will compete on 8 March 2019 for the largest cash prize in history, with $35,000 to the first-place winner, $10,000 for second place and $5,000 for the third prize.
