In our SEASON FINALE (with one bonus episode to come next week) we delve into a myth that's close to all of our hearts, whether we've heard of it or not. It's the story of Asclepius - the Patron God of Medicine dating back to Ancient Greece.

Asclepius was a student of the centaur Chiron and the son of Apollo and Coronis. His method of healing was to enter the dreams of his patients and either perform a healing there, or show the dreamer ways to heal in their waking life.

We discuss these mythic roots of Western Medicine and wonder about how and when the Western medical model lost track of this deeply personal connection to healing and wholeness. And, perhaps, how it might find its way back.

It's fitting that it's the 13th episode of the podcast - as Asclepius, aka Ophiuchus, has recently been called the 13th sign of the Zodiac. We'll get stuck into that topic too.
