Hoarding is like running shoes. People buy running shoes based on their beliefs of what the shoes will do for them. You buy a certain type of shoe if you are a sprinter and a different type of shoe if you are a distance runner. The running shoes you choose need to have arch support and a flexible toe box so your toes can bend easily. The tread on the shoe will grip the road and the shock absorbers need to catch the bounce as your foot hits the pavement. The right running shoe will fit your foot and be so comfortable that you don't even know you are wearing a shoe.

Hoarding is like running shoes. People fill their homes with tools, trinkets, collectibles, clothes, books, crafts, movies, games, music, kitchenware, toys, and electronics. The stuff that's kept serves different purposes based on different interests and family members of all ages. They keep stuff based on the stories they tell themselves about its utility. The stuff symbolizes and celebrates different moments of progress in their lives.

Then one day like an old pair of running shoes whose tread is worn and shock is gone, their stuff grows old, falls apart and they grow out of or lose interest in their stuff. Still, it is too comfortable to toss. The emotional attachments to stuff tell a story and represent moments of meaning.

With the running shoe, it may be distances run or races won that symbolize achievement, status, and dreams come true. But the old running shoes like the hoarders' stuff no longer offers support, comfort, or utility.

Do you want to be an overnight success in your cleaning business? Seems everybody is getting into the house cleaning business these days and trying to build a business without money.

It's like the time my brothers and I decided on a whim to run a 50-mile road race without any prior running experience or knowledge. But how hard can it be right? It's just one foot in front of the next. Oh my gosh, it was so hard. We had the wrong shoes, clothes, and mentality.

If you are trying to build a business from scratch without experience or prior knowledge you can, but you have to keep going even when the going gets tough. Are you going to jump in and build a business plan as you go or are you going to wait until you've figured it all out? You get to decide but I will tell you this, there are no shortcuts.

If you're trying to be an overnight success in your cleaning business you have to show up to the starting line and begin the race. Just like us becoming marathon runners overnight. Yes, we did finish in under 20 hours, but it wasn't easy. We were sore for days after the race ended. I even had blisters on my feet and lost all my toenails. But getting started gave me the confidence to train again for the next big race.

Next time would be different. I learned the ins and outs of running; I did speed work and hill training. I took an interest in sleep and the right foods to eat so the next run I would be prepared.

Hey guys, today I'm going to be giving you a review on the Veken Dual Nozzle Bidet Sprayer, you know that thing that shoots water at your bum. Let me guess, you're afraid to try a bidet, right? I'll quickly tell you why I'm such a fan and why for the first time ever American's are giving portable bidets that install in minutes some serious thought. So, if you decide you do want this one, I included a link in the description below where you can pick this one up for around $30 bucks.

I had no idea I could get a high-quality bidet for such a low price. I used to think they cost hundreds and even thousands of dollars. You don't need to be a plumber; you can install this in under 5 minutes. And, you don't need electricity to use it. Pretty cool, eh?

Before I tell you how to clean a bidet let me tell you why every toilet in your house wants one. Better personal hygiene and cleaning.

If you got poop on your hand, you wouldn't dry wipe it and then go about your business. Right? You would run shrieking to the sink to wash it off. And yet when your bum gets messy you dry wipe it and then hurry off and act like it never happened. WHAT?

During the pandemic, there was a mad rush on toilet paper. You couldn't find it in any of the stores and when toilet paper made a reappearance on the store shelves it had doubled in price.

Toilet paper is expensive to use, it's expensive to create, and with a bidet, you can save money on both and greatly reduce the impact you have on the environment We've joined the earth-conscious using about 70% less toilet paper and have given up expensive wet wipes as well. Americans use close to 8 million tons of toilet paper every year. Now, fewer forests will be destroyed to keep up with this demand.

With the portable bum washer (just kidding) the proper name is washlet, you can save money and reduce household waste. You'll have better skincare, better hygiene, and a better toilet user experience that will leave you feeling fresh and clean.

Reduce plumbing problems and prevent clogs.

Bidets are quite popular with older people because they help prevent urinary tract infections. And if you have young kids teaching them to use a bidet is easy as teaching them to wipe. It is one of the best investments you can make considering the health benefits and the money you'll save on toilet paper.

We've really appreciated the benefits of having one. (Make that four. We have four toilets in our house, each now proudly sporting the latest in butt washing care.) I do admit, it took some convincing to get my husband to actually use it, but now that we have them in every bathroom, he wonders why we waited so long.
