Assassin's Creed Lorecast

Welcome to SEASON THREE!!! In this week's episode, the Cups break down more Pieces of Eden. This time, we're discussing some Pieces of Eden that are more obscure and not quite as tied to main questlines among all the Assassin's Creed games. We specifically discuss the Eye, crystal balls, and the Observatory.

In this week's episode, the Cups close out their Isu season with another Character Deep Dive. This week, we're looking at the last of the OG trio--Rebecca Crane. Along with Shaun Hastings and Lucy Stillman, Rebecca is apart of the trio of characters in the modern day storyline from the first few Assassin's Creed games. She also plays a pivotal role throughout the games. We take a look at her appearance in the games, her background, and her allegiances.

This week, the Cups talk about three more Isu. These three are Hades, Poseidon, and Hermes--and the last three we'll be discussing this season. Don't worry, we'll revisit the Isu especially as we learn more about them in new Assassin's Creed content. We talk about these three and their specific contributions, and focus on how these three Isu are a little bit different than some of the others.

This week, the Cups answer a patron-submitted question! Mk10Gamer asked if we could rank all the non-player characters (or NPCs) in the games. We decided to stick to ranking Assassin's Creed 1 through 3, and including a few more questions too!

This week, the Cups look at another interesting Isu--the one and only Aletheia. She is a very interesting and somewhat different Isu. She is very much a defender of humanity, and even considers herself to be a rebel. But she's also not necessarily based on just one Greek/Roman god. She's also inspired by the goddess Angrboda from Norse mythology. Join us as we continue our series on the Isu!

This week, the Cups take a look at two more Isu, Odin and Loki. These two Isu are the first two that have come from outside of the Greek and Roman pantheon of gods. Odin and Loki, as you may know, come from Norse mythology. We discuss how they fit into the Assassins' Creed universe and how this role is different from actual Norse mythology.

This week, the Cups take a look at the other two Isu that make up the Capitoline Triad, Minerva and Jupiter. Minerva is the first Isu that we meet in the games, specifically at the end of Assassin's Creed 2. We also discuss Jupiter--while he may be the top of the Capitoline Triad, we know very little about him.

This week, the Cups take another look at Juno--or at least a group that claims to be an extension of her--the Instruments of the First Will. This group is intimately connected to Juno and wreaks havoc upon humanity. We deep dive on this group, and maybe even discuss some theories along the way.

In this week's episode, the Cups take a deep dive into the Isu's society, at least what we know of it. We also take a look at the Isu High Council and the Capitoline Triad. Throughout this episode, we also discuss the human creation and subsequent rebellion from the Isu, and how this conflict continues to impact modern-day Templars and Assassins.
