“If you have a team, you should have a budget line for Professional Development.” Wanna know who said that!? Yep! It was me! I am a true believer that the time and money I invest in my team has a direct influence on the success of my business.

I know that time and money can be scarce resources, but a culture of continuous improvement and community as a team has always been a non-negotiable for me. Singing from the same song book, and joining me in this episode, is fellow PD junkie Stacey Morgan.

November in Australia is a busy time. For those lucky enough to be showcasing your students in performances it’s go time. Then of course there is planning your timetables and re enrolment strategy, squeezed in between Christmas shopping for the family and remembering school excursion permission slips.

But it is also the time to start thinking about your studio beyond the end of the year. It might be one year down the track, or several, but either way there is so much value in taking time out of the day-to-day operations and allowing yourself some time to breathe, and dream and reimagine.

In this solo episode I’ll be sharing why you should have a vision and how it has been a huge driver behind my business successes.
