We are excited to announce a more coherent deep-dive into one topic per episode, led by either Sarah or Dana on their respective themes. This week Sarah helps us understand Selfie Dysmorphia (who knew it had a name!) because you know things are bad when you can’t tell what’s scarier: the ocean being on fire or seeing a photo of yourself! Sarah walks us through the psychology behind judging ourselves so harshly, obsessing over photos, and even using filters or photo editing apps to break our own brains.

Don’t forget to wash your hands, because today’s episode is a real doozy! Dana and Sarah welcome special guest and friend of the pod Laura Robinson for this exciting episode of At Your Own Risk. Laura tells us about her particularly wild trip around the sun, from up and moving to Hawaii to live in a minivan to the highs and (mostly) lows of trying to become a doctor.
