Using a pen as self defense is just as good as caring any other weapon. Tactical pens are more durable and more functional , their designed for strength and multiple use. Tactical pens can be a lethal or non lethal , perfect for everyday scenarios where excessive force isn't necessary or  necessary . There legal to carry where places other weapons are not . Do self defense workshops and courses really work ? When we train we all need more than 2 hours or a week to really learn anything. This is why when you Do workshops or courses the instructors should tell you to keep training or find a school that you can train at . If you keep training you lower the risk of being a victim and will be able to handle your self in a situation .

I've been combing my system with other Styles over the years . One thing I notes is that Judo is in everything . In 1945 the Military had Combat Judo and it was blind of Mixed Martial Arts . Now we are in the 2000's and times have changed , everything evolves and I started a 360 Combat judo in my Private classes . In this episode I talk about the benefits bringing back the Combat Judo and how its in other arts as well , And how I strongly recommend That the U.S. Police officers should start incorporating   Judo in their training .

Loyalty works both ways . Students that are loyal to their instructor will learn more and grow together in the art , but it works both ways. It's also up to the instructor to teach and show loyalty instead of demand it. That is way there is a lot of students that hop from 1 gym to an other or from 1 dojo to an other . Communication is key with both Instructor and student.
