The power of love is infinitely greater than the force of fear. -Harold W. Becker
Changemakers harness the immense power of love to drive transformation. They do this by infusing love and compassion into all they do - showing empathy and understanding towards those they aim to help, treating every person with dignity and respect, and striving to create a more loving and inclusive world. By incorporating love into their approach, these changemakers foster strong connections and bring about positive change that lasts.
We can use the power of love as a tool for change that goes beyond just emotions, it drives actions and decisions toward creating a better world. Changemakers like Ame-lia understand that love is a universal language that transcends boundaries and unites people, regardless of their backgrounds or differences. They use this understanding to bring about positive change, by approaching their work with a compassionate and empathetic mindset, and striving to create an environment that is inclusive and supportive.

“You can have it all, just not all at the same time,”
Being a working mother is not a one-time decision. Neither is the way you organize your work-life balance. As your children get older, your profession progresses, and your family's demands change, you'll need to change course to find a solution that works for everyone. That's natural and healthy — and necessary for long-term enjoyment in various areas.
Because of gendered expectations of women's caring obligations, colleagues and bosses anticipate mothers will put their careers on hold...so they give them less chances or projects, discount their work, or condemn them for leaving early to pick up their children.
The first step is to clarify what balance means to you and avoid comparing yourself to others. Assume you have a large job with many duties. That probably means you won't be able to pick up your children from school or attend some of their activities, but that doesn't mean you're a horrible mother.
The final truth is that your definition will differ depending on your employment, your support, your desires, and priorities. The ideal equation for you and your family will most likely differ from that of your neighbor. This may alter when your career changes and your children get older. Everything is fine. Continue to redefine balance and be open and honest with your spouse about your needs, desires, and degree of happiness.

There are many reasons why people may seek recognition. Some people may seek recognition as a way to feel valued and appreciated by others. They may want to be recognized for their hard work, achievements, or personal qualities. Others may seek recognition as a way to feel a sense of belonging or acceptance within a group or community. Still others may seek recognition in order to boost their self-esteem or confidence. Ultimately, the desire for recognition is often rooted in a basic human need to feel valued and connected to others.
Here are a few more factors that may contribute to a person's desire for recognition:
A sense of accomplishment: Achieving goals and receiving recognition for those achievements can be a great source of satisfaction and pride. This can be especially true when the goals are challenging or require a significant amount of effort.
A need for validation: Many people seek recognition as a way to validate their skills, abilities, or worth. This can be especially true when a person has doubts about their own abilities or value.
Social comparison: People often compare themselves to others and look for ways to stand out or be seen as more successful. Seeking recognition can be a way to demonstrate superiority or to feel more confident in one's own abilities.
Personal growth: Some people may seek recognition as a way to push themselves to grow and improve. Receiving recognition for their efforts can be a motivator to continue learning and striving for excellence.

ABOUT PATRICK
Patrick Carney is a professional artist, networker, keynote speaker, and referral training consultant.
Specialties: Pen & Ink, Acrylic portraits, Mastermind facilitator, DISC, Referral Trainer, Networker
As a young art student at the School of Visual Arts in New York City, Patrick Carney had the privilege to study with Chuck Close, Marge Anderson, Robert Israel and Milton Glaser. Each of these teachers had a profound impact on his life and he has many fond memories of each one. While attending Buffalo State, he worked as a specialist in media at the Communications Center. Then later, he was named the Art Director of the Lafayette Community Center where he taught art to inner city children. And for a time, he traveled through out the state of New York as an Artist in Residence at underprivileged high schools, as a representative for the Arts Council. Patrick also volunteered as an art teacher in the state prison system, believing that it was his obligation to give back, "pass on" his given talents. Such a diversified background at a very young age, however, he was always drawn to the music and those talented individuals who spoke to his soul.
Born and raised in New York, Patrick started hanging out in NY's West Village around 1964, and dedicated his time to drawing and painting the world of rock n' roll music where he soon became an influential documentary artist of rock's most celebrated musicians. He traveled throughout the United States attending rock concerts, painting whatever star excited him, capturing the passion and creativity that's now caught in real time forever! Known as The Artiste, he loves sharing stories at his Art Shows of these chance meetings, that went on to form strong relationships with so many famous musicians.

Looking in the mirror and describing what you see is an example of self-reflection. It is a method of evaluating yourself, your work, and your study methods. Put,' reflection' means to think about something.
When people criticize us or our work, most of us are easily offended, Some may really take it badly. But, what we have to learn is to accept criticism as a way to improve ourselves, a way to become the best version of ourselves. When someone criticizes you. Take nothing personally. To begin, recognize that the individual providing constructive criticism does not mean to make you feel horrible about yourself.

"The world is waiting on your story. The world is waiting for what you do because only you can do what you can do"
It is essential to take care of your body in order to stay fit and healthy for as long as possible. However, advice on how to care for your body is contradictory and sometimes perplexing. It might be challenging to determine what is ideal. Many individuals stop any attempt to care for themselves because it is simply too tough.
However, just because something is difficult does not indicate that the effort is not worth it. Common sense tells us that even a bit of exercise, a little more sleep, and avoiding eating that second piece of cake is likely beneficial. A little science and a lot more common sense may go a long way toward assisting you in working out.

We are all afraid. We wouldn't be living if we didn't feel dread. But there's a tremendous difference between being scared and being motivated by it. Most individuals are motivated by their anxieties, which cause them to make (or avoid making) decisions that take them down a dark, sticky dead-end path.
When you are afraid you cannot express your full potential. Always say who you really are and always spread kindness to other people.
In this episode, Keira will help me overcome my fears and take on new challenges.

Mis·com·mu·ni·ca·tion : /ˌmiskəˌmyo͞onəˈkāSHən/
Because of a communication gap, you and others may rush, feel worried, overworked, and lose your sense of humor. Lack of or inappropriate communication produces worry and stress, both of which are detrimental to one's mental health.
When a communication is not fully conveyed, the sender leaves out important information, or the receiver fails to ask clarifying questions, vagueness and ambiguity ensue. Ambiguity and vagueness increase the complexity of a task while decreasing one's capacity to make decisions and solve difficulties.
In this episode, Alan and I will dig into an interesting discussion about communication and miscommunication. How this affects life and relationship.

Leaders provide guidance and assist others in doing the correct thing to move forward. To do this, they establish an exciting vision and then encourage and inspire people to help them realize it. The first step in personal leadership is to own up to everything, every mistake, and success, and take responsibility for your actions.
Ida and I talk about personal leadership and adapting to new cultural values while caring for values from other origin nations.
