This is can be an endless cycle and a far cry from being the purpose of life. In fact, this cycle tends to produce shame and disappointment because you're not living up to the expectations of others or your own potential.

The purpose of testing is to ensure quality and consistency.

Life feels constricting and unsafe when we don't feel the acceptance of others.

We all define "acceptance" in different ways. Some manage attempt to find acceptance by being dominant any taking control. Others manage emotions by being passive and flexible. Others manage them being available and continually serving. In today's episode we discuss how the words you use to describe your obstacles indicate what you believe about yourself. If you say that something is impossible it indicates that your believe you lack what is necessary. If you say that you're facing a giant then there may be a belief that you are small, weak, or insignificant. The opposite is also true … if you say that your challenges are "doable" then you believe you have what it takes.

Bottom line … how you perceive the world is how you perceive yourself.

When was the last time you witnessed excellence and what was it that made it excellent? Excellence can show up in a variety of ways but we all know it when we see it.

Excellence is in our DNA because we're made in the image of God, but listening to the narrative of society will pull us away from excellent. The purpose of life is not about settling , but we chose to settle for above average feels safe and comfortable. Yet, it can breed feelings of shame, resentment, and judgment toward others. Instead of fighting these negative feelings, what if they were just indicators of where you need to go? What if they were like road signs making the path clear to a life that will bring glory to the kingdom of God?

In today's episode we discuss how the labels you identify with create the limitations in your life. These labels are given to you as child from peers, teachers, parents, etc. Wearing these labels can be exhausting and leads to weariness that causes you to falter in your progress. Friend, you'll never live into the true potential when you continually carry the limiting labels.

Your creator has also given you labels that set limitations. Your creator calls you friend, chosen, son/daughter, heir, king/queen, righteous, blessed, a new creation, etc … and Jesus said that through Him all things are possible. His limitations are truly limitless.

Life is supposed to be hard … RIGHT? I mean, isn't that the purpose of life? For it to be hard and unfair?

In today's episode we discuss why knowing your life purpose is so important to valuing your time. This is for you if you find yourself continually convincing yourself that you need to be more motivated in your work. You know you have great potential but are stuck in the cycle where you keep oscillating back and forth from trying harder to just going through the motions.

This is exhausting and creates a weariness in us where we're just looking to get out; we're looking to stop. And when we're looking to stop we're not truly valuing the time. Friend, you'll never live into the true potential stuck in this cycle where you're convincing yourself to do better and be more grateful.

Be encouraged and find hope in how you are created. Only the creator can know the true intent and purpose of their creation. Stop letting the crowds assign your purpose and value … which only leads to dissatisfaction. God created you for a life that is free and full.

In today's episode, I want to talk about how our mind acts like a thermostat to keep us in our comfort zone. Our brain needs about 20% of all the energy we consume to function. Since it requires so much energy, it naturally wants to be efficient and preserve it's energy and use the least amount of energy possible. Therefore, it creates habits to help conserve energy. Which means that our brain is automatically predisposed to the comfort zone.

A life of excellence begins with training the mind. We discuss practical ways in which you can train your brain that promotes better memory, creativity, and focus. Training your brain allows you to be more adaptable to handle the stressors of life.
