This wise and witty tale tells of a simple but intelligent peasant named Buryachko, whose daughter fell in love with the prince. The king is against such a marriage, but Buryachko does not give up - and it is intelligence, sincerity and love that become stronger than arrogance and charming tricks. In the course of the adventures, the king finds himself in the position of a shepherd, and his family experiences a real test. The tale teaches that true nobility is not in the title, but in honesty, hard work and the ability to overcome difficulties.
