Dennis Bowman, a man with a history of violence, was arrested in 2019 for the 1980 murder of Kathleen Doyle. While incarcerated, he confessed to the 1989 disappearance of his 14-year-old adopted daughter, Aundria, providing changing accounts of her death. His confession ultimately led to the discovery of Aundria's remains in his backyard. Bowman pleaded guilty to Doyle's murder and received two life sentences, plus he pleaded no contest to Aundria's murder and received a 35-50 year sentence. Despite his statements, some details surrounding Aundria's death remain unclear.
