Australia has banned social media for kids under the age of 16. Here in Quebec, the government is studying the possibility of setting a minimum age for social media accounts following a push from the youth wing of the governing Coalition Avenir Québec. Dr. Sara Grimes, Wolfe Chair in Scientific and Technological Literacy, and Professor in the Department of Art History and Communication Studies at McGill University, spoke to Andrew Carter about it.
