We're exited to welcome Caitlin Berecry-Brooks to the ALF hosting team and thought we'd take the opportunity ro re-introduce her to our listeners.
Caitlin started fishing with her partner, now husband, about 8 years ago and from day one has always fished with lures. She's currently based in Central Victoria and loves nothing better than to fish for Murray cod, bass and pretty much anything else that swims in her part of the world. She's also lived and fished in Northern Australia and on the NSW North Coast, so she's got plenty of experience on the barra, threadies and a ton of east-coast species too.
When she's not fishing Caitlin works for Fisheries in Victoria on engagement and events management and now finds herself managing the WIRF (Women In Recreational Fishing) program that she'd previously joined as a community leader. She's passionate about encouraging and nurturing women and children into fishing.
Welcome Caitlin, it's awesome to have you aboard!
