A report today from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners has raised concerns about an ageing GP workforce and access issues for people living in regional and rural areas. 

But there is a glimmer of hope with the college saying a workforce recovery has begun. It's being supported by an incentivised training program for junior doctors working in rural areas.
