It's been about 100 episodes since we last did a Nickelodeon novelization. Just long enough for us to forget that they are irredeemable, meritless piles of waste. An utter dearth of ambition or vision, the novelization of Hey Arnold! The Movie insults the intelligence of the children it aims to please.

The good news is that we have podcaster Richie Owens back on to discuss it, and he's fun! Some kid stole his copy of this book in the 90s and he has not forgiven or forgotten. We have so much fun! I can't believe we talked about this for almost two hours. There isn't a single thing in the book worth mentioning. I guess we just filled the time having fun times with fun friends.

Okay it’s a simple setup, alright? Divorcee and her child move into a giant home with a special room for panicking, but the guy who made the freak out room comes back to gets what’s inside it, and also his team sucks so bad, and also the protagonist and her daughter are in the Go Nuts Room where the money (??) is. Plus Jared Leto is there. 

We’re joined by podcaster Claire Burns to discuss the ups, downs, and inconsistencies of David Fincher’s 2000s thriller, and the novelization by James Ellison. Overbye really likes the book, but it turns out the book is really sexist when you think about it, so now he’s thought about it and he DOESN’T like it anymore.
