We enjoyed watching the Daytona 500 and touch on a few of our favorite things about it. Andrew and Brad changed the belts on the quirky but nice '79 Accord before it heads off to a new owner. Then we cover a few scale project car updates. Finally, was it Imperialism or the invention of the car that decided what side of the road we drive on? We discuss righthand and lefthand traffic in the back half of the episode.
Brad and Andrew ate some naked chicken chalupas, they did not disappoint. However, the damn Junkyard Raider did. As a special treat you can hear the truck fire up right here on this podcast. We promise it will be the only podcast ever to feature audio of a Dodge Raider being started. Then we talk some Tamiya R/C and go over a few scale project cars. Andrew got his Montero wheels overnighted from Japan, well not really, but they still came pretty quickly.
Andrew's voice is running on 3 cylinders this week. Coloring contest winners are announced! We discuss TSD rallying and the Winter Challenge Rally in VT. Brad is into micro R/C cars. Then we take some listener questions and thank you to everyone listening!

Brad and Andrew both have head colds this week so excuse our voices and coughs. Our friend Jeremy of HotRodCoffeeShop.com stopped by the AOT bunker for a little chat. We learned about Jeremy's six-fo and how it helped him learn to weld and fabricate. Don't worry folks, we find a way to bring it back to Mitsubishis.

Brad and Andrew were 13 years late watching the Long Way Round. We talk about how great it was and why you should watch it before it leaves Netflix.
We do some project car updates, scale project car updates, and answer some listener questions. This episode is dedicated to our late friend Adrian.

We talk a little about the ending of Dakar. Andrew said YOLO and booked a trip to the Rolex 24hrs for 24hrs because no one wants to be in Florida for longer than that. Brad buys the rock, er Silverado of his dreams. We cover some scale project car updates and Enzo the dog rips a fart. Then we talk about ALL of Andrew's cars.

Do a burnout! Brad and Andrew casually discuss Dakar Rally. We cover some scale project cars. Brad has a potential work truck found and we cover some of Brad's car history after realizing we hadn't covered it before. Brad also makes a horrible case for owning a DSM. Then we get down and answer the hard hitting listener questions. Which we thank you all very much for participating.

Holy Cow, episode 10 guys! Making good on our 2017 resolution we have our first guest; Jared Robinson (Chapel) on the internets. We quickly remind everyone of our Mitsubishi coloring contest. Then we Breeze through some project car updates, both 1:1 and 1/24th scale. Andrew bought another Montero and listener Rob V. is sending Brad a used head for the Raider. Brad and Andrew have run in the same car enthusiast circles with Jared for the better part of the last 10 years, so we sat down and had a nice chat about Jared's car history, which is long and varied. We also discovered that our parents may have all run in the same street racing circles during the early 70s. We hope you enjoy this episode as much as we did making it. Look for more guests on the show, at least once a month. We also added some new audio equipment to slowly but surely increase our audio quality.

Happy new Year from us at the Auto Off Topic Podcast. Thanks for listening and even though we've only done 9 episodes at the end of 2016. The positive responses from you fine folks has been great. To kick off the new year Andrew announces an exciting contest after giving Brad his Christmas gift. Check the FB page for details. Brad and Andrew cranked on a couple of Brad's cars this week. The Saab gets new "breaks" as they say on Craiglist and the Raider loses its head. Sweet Progress! Andrew nearly bought another Montero and spent some quality alone time building the new Lego Caterham kit. Brad got a couple cool diecasts for Christmas and Andrew picked up ANOTHER EVO model kit. Then we answer a couple listener questions. We're super pumped for what 2017 has in store, again thanks for listening.
