Libby Roderick is an internationally recognized singer-songwriter who currently serves as director of the Difficult Dialogues Initiative and associate director of the faculty-teaching center at the University of Alaska Anchorage. She works with faculty members across the U.S. and South Africa to assist them in conducting difficult dialogues and to apply Indigenous ways of teaching and learning in the classroom. An Alaska Woman of Achievement and long-time activist, Libby is currently helping guide a partnership between the university and the municipality to establish a Climate Action Plan (CAP) for Anchorage.

Justin Zagorski is an activist, educator and social justice consultant who specializes in conducting anti-oppression workshops. After graduating from Alaska Pacific University in 2012, he earned his Masters of Arts degree at Seattle University with a focus on how white male college administrators engage with social justice movements. Currently Justin partners with Planned Parenthood Votes Northwest to facilitate monthly anti-racism dialogues. Previously he facilitated city-wide inclusion work as the Social Justice Program Manager at YWCA Alaska. To date, he’s implemented over 100 social-justice training sessions for college students.

He worked for Agence-France Presse, the Associated Press, the Anchorage Daily News and the Redding (California) Record Searchlight. He taught journalism, was CIRI corporate communications director and worked on development projects at The Boutet Company before joining the Berkowitz administration.
