The New Journal and Guide is the third oldest Black newspaper in the country, and since 1987 journalist Leonard Colvin has been a fixture on its weekly pages. Leonard Colvin has been chronicling Black life in Hampton Roads for more than 36 years, covering topics from civil rights to politics, to Black culture.
