The Colorado Avalanche beat up on the Vancouver Canucks last week, 7-1. You didn't think that was going to happen again did you? The Avalanche got an opponent that played a much better game, but it still was not enough to overcome the Avs offensive weapons, and in the end the Avalanche went on to a 4-2 lead and their third win in a row. Nazem Kadri continued his fantastic start to the season, and at a time when they need him the most with Nathan MacKinnon out, as well as J. T. Compher for the next few weeks.
