Once again, it was the tale of two teams. The Colorado Avalanche started their Tuesday night matchup against the Florida Panthers in pretty good form. But the wheels fell off pretty quickly as the Panthers scored 3 first period goals.

This caused the Avs to look like they were just going through the motions and at the start of the 3rd period, down 4-1, I don't think we expected much. But that isn't how an Avalanche team opperates. One by one, the Avs started scoring and before you knew it, they had tied it up 4-4. But a missed high stick to J.T. Compher followed by a questionable no call for embellishment on Nick Cousins gave the Panthers a late game power play, which they connected on. A few minutes later, the game was over, and the Avs suffered yet another loss.
