The losing streak had to end at some point, but for a time during Saturday nights matchup against the Edmonton Oilers, it looked like the streak was going to continue to six games for the Colorado Avalanche.

Not that they weren't playing well. They were. Just the score was not indicative of the play on the ice. But with the Oilers up 2-0 in the 2nd, the Avalanche just needed a spark, and that came, once again, in the fashion of a Nathan MacKinnon coast-to-coast highlight reel goal.

The Avs ended their five game losing streak, but needed another highlight reel goal to do it. This time from Cale Makar.
