The Colorado Avalanche seem to be getting comfortable and settling down after a handful of games. The Avs won their second game in a row which both of them happen to be against division rivals, and get back to a .500 record on the season.

No Mikko Rantanen again, but Sam Girard did return and when you have payers like Logan O'Connor and Jacob MacDonald giving maximum effort with every shift along with non wasted minutes eaten up by Kurtis MacDermid, the Avs are now that team where the opponent has to play every second of the game with minimal letdown.

And for period of the game, the Wild did just that. They had the Avalanche on their heels on several occasions, but the Avs had a bend don't break mentality which carried them to a 4-1 win.

A four point night for Gabriel Landeskog, EJ was making plays on both ends of the ice including a goal, and Darcy Keumper continues to be what the Avs need him to be. Overall, a very strong win.
