The Chicago Blackhawks came along at the perfect time for the Avs. With Colorado not playing particularly well and struggling to win games over the past week, to face off against a team that's had those same struggles for the entire season was welcoming. Maybe it was going to be the starting point for the Avs to get back on track.

It was not.

The Colorado Avalanche, the defending Stanley Cup Champions, lost to the worst team in the league, 3-2. Nobody should feel like this is ok.
