The Colorado Avalanche had a pretty easy road for the month of November. Playing only 10 games, winning seven of them while plying teams they were mostly superior to.

The month of December looks like a complete 180. Not only will the Avs play a total of 16 games during the month, their only multiple days off are for the Christmas break, they play a five game road trip as well as a four game road trip which will be part of 11 road games in total.

But, the Avs will have the services of Nathan MacKinnon with them as he seems set to return for the first game of the month in Toronto. And he cannot wait to take part in what this team has been accomplishing as of late.
