The Bible includes a lot of stories, stories that inspire and show us what God is like and how we can live. The story of Kaboo is one that inspires and shows us how we can live and the ways of the Spirit. Kaboo was filled with the Holy Spirit and we too are carriers of the presence of God. The presence that changes lives around us, does the miraculous and was sent to fill all in all.

From the beginning of creation, the Holy Spirit was moving, forming, creating. He is God, with personality, power and desire to live within the sons and daughters of God to enable us to live like Jesus and to love with power. He is the desire of all mankind, the truth, comforter, helper of mankind. And He is exclusive - He gladly fills those who believe and follow the Son. He is ours and our pleasure to know and be filled with Him.

More than tradition or rote, the reality of the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead is the story of God's love manifested on the earth to save, rescue, and ransom our lives for His life. And then giving us new life, purpose and eternity with Him.

Continuing from the previous week, Matt shares about how God has good intended for our lives as we navigate through mistreatment and offense. Forgiveness isn't an option for anyone who has been set free and who desires to fulfill their purpose. Sometimes forgiveness is a process, but it is always necessary that we become people who forgive at every turn and in every circumstance so that we will be forgiven.

In this two part series, Matt begins by sharing about the life and story of Joseph. The dreamer who went from favorite son, to hated brother, to slave, prisoner and finally ruler of all Egypt and deliverer of the hungry. This journey has profound insights into how we view God, view mistreatment and see beyond ourselves.

In seeking more power and authority in my own life, I was challenged by God's expectations of me. 1 Corinthians 9:24-27 says we are to subdue our bodies like an Olympian athlete. Also, I was reminded of how He led His followers into circumstances that caused them to reach beyond themselves and step into unprecedented stances to take authority over situations. In Luke 8:22-25, He had a standard that he insisted they walk in for victory in our own life and in the lives of others.
