A portion of the will of God for every person is to love one another. It is the commandment of Jesus and what identifies a follower of Jesus from others. To love means getting to know one another. It means replacing assumptions and accusations with questions from a heart of love. Today, we interview several people and ask them questions in order to help us all become people who love one another and prefer one another.

Jesus continues giving encouragement, correction and instructions to the seven churches in Asia, which can also be applied to all churches in every age since that time. Jesus shares insight and importance for us in every age, helping to prepare us for the days we are in and the days coming soon.

Jesus personally visited the Apostle John with messages of encouragement and correction for the churches in Asia. These messages are applicable to us in our time and this age, and reveal the nature of Jesus, warnings for us now and encouragement about what is ahead.

Throughout history, God leaves clues for His people to. From the Garden to the Tabernacle of Moses, all the way to Peter’s words about a holy priesthood, we can see God’s desire to live among His people. In this message, David talks about what it means to worship in Spirit and in truth.

Each of us have been given a measure of faith...what we do with it is up to us!!! The life of faith is a participant based life...not a spectator based life!

In this first message of 2018, Matt shares about five elements of focus and culture that we want to have at Awake Church. Spirit of Excellence, Passion, Empowering, Authenticity and Kingdom-Centered.

On this final Sunday of 2017, Matt shares some of what God has done during the year and how we have so much to be thankful for. He also shares five things that the Lord has been showing him for 2018 for Awake Church - Distraction adjustments, Making Requests that move heaven, Being a Voice that is heard in the world, Engaging in Missions, and saying yes to the Change that He has for us.

Throughout the scriptures we find that God is not only for us, but is waiting for us to see as He sees and ask Him to do things. Heaven is postured to move and help and change situations, waiting for our requests. Jesus ripped the lid off of the impossible saying, "whatever you ask in My name," yet prayer is often a last resort instead of a first action. Let's ask, seek, knock and believe that there really are more for us than against us.
