Rose speaks about her awakening journey and what it looked like to transition from her waitressing job to embracing her gifts and supporting her self fully in doing so. This episode took a direction I could have never predicted. We sat down to chat with Dr Brett Davis a chiropractor and the owner of Healix health, to chat about how achieving inner happiness and health can lead to outer results.

What we got along side that was an incredibly intimate and vulnerable story, about a man who was in a dark place and experiencing many health challenges, take charge of his life and become the healthiest version of himself. These changes led him to thrive in his business and family life.

Dr Davis, walks us through his experiences in the military, chiropractic school, volunteering on mission trips, starting a practice, moving to a new country, and becoming a father.

He opens up about how he was abusing alcohol and food to cope with stress and pain. He shares the moment that he realized he had a problem, and the steps he took to break his addictions, heal from mold toxicity, and finally be able to loose weight.

His own personal experiences were the catalyst for the creation of Healix health. Through health coaching Brett helps individuals heal from the inside out. His mission is to help empower fathers to show up as best they can for their families. He believes this begins from healing both the mind and the body, to help end generations of trauma and for fathers to have the energy and presence to keep up with, and truly enjoy their kids.

My marriage was hanging on by a thread. I was longing for deeper connection and appreciation from my husband. What I didn’t realize was that I was standing in the way of the relationships I truly wanted. In this episode I talk about an emotional awakening, I had that is changing everything in my life, but most of all my marriage. I talk about an event that happened when I was 15. Because of that event I started putting up walls, and closed my self off from the people closest to me. Love just did not feel safe. Prior to this awakening, I thought my husband was the problem. Actually, I felt everyone but myself was the problem. I am more vulnerable than ever before in this episode. I have so much gratitude for this community for allowing me a space space to share my heart.
