The algorithm makes use of conditional subtraction, where if the of the result of the subtraction is not negative then output the result of that subtraction, else if the result of the subtraction is negative then output the number otherwise being subtracted from and ignore the number that would be the one that is subtracted from the other number.

23:40 When I talk about the art being fake, it's not that the end result itself is fake and is not real art, specifically what I was getting at, is that the process the law, the copyright law incentivices the process of pursuing that fake ideal. "The original work" is a false god, and copyright sets people out to worship it. So this does not mean those works created in it's name are not real art, they still are, there is still value in art that is created even if it was created in a context where copyright exists, what I mean is that the false god of copyright law distracts people and sets them on the wrong path, it could lessen the quality of the art, prevent the authors and artists from realizing their true potential. So the art itself they make is not fake art, they are simply pursuing fake goals
