Today I had my consult for surgery, but Hashimoto’s may make me ineligible unless my labs clear me. I returned my iPad, reduced my bill, and kept working on my guided journal, almost 165 questions now! Nervous and excited aka “nervcited” to publish my third book this year. And so it begins…
I caught up on my 21-day challenge, recorded monologues, and worked on my guided journal. Tomorrow is packed: doctor’s appointment, workout, call, and school. I’m practicing focus, even while juggling Kundalini yoga, content, and side projects. One step at a time.
Today wasn’t huge or flashy, but it mattered. I slept in, saw family, did my homework, and had new ideas about turning emotions into something healing. Finished a book, did day two of Kundalini yoga, and planned for tomorrow. My life really does only get better and better.
I spent today creating: from designing my guided journal cover to starting day one of Kundalini yoga (which feels like punishment-meets-transformation). I read part of a fantasy novel, reflected on my monologues, and even did laundry. On TikTok Live last night, I hyped people up, and one friend said she loved how I boosted everyone. That made me realize, I’m a natural hype person, and everyone deserves to feel that.
Today reminded me that my life only gets better and better. From an upgraded flight to New York, to my brother gifting me a red Tumi suitcase, to realizing how proud I am of myself, everything feels like an upgrade. I enter, I win.
I tackled 75% of my list today, I missed food and school but gained small wins like paying a bill early, buying my iPad, and staying on track. I’m learning to balance joy, responsibility, and dreams one day at a time.
Today I bounced back from one of my lowest points yesterday. As it turns out, letting myself fully feel sad actually cleared the way for me to feel lighter. I found out my audition was officially submitted (!!!), and even though I wasn’t the only one, it gave me hope. I hosted a live group manifesting session for the black moon, and we prayed for everything from dream jobs to paying off houses. It reminded me how powerful community and perspective can be. I also laughed at myself for spilling water on my swim trunks mid-live (“they’re made to get wet anyway”), and started mapping out my life: budgeting, books to read, even monologues I want to write. The reminder for me (and maybe for you too): one day you feel crushed, the next day you ask, “What if good news comes today?” and sometimes it does
I love you, little potato. Tonight I wrestled with anger, disappointment, and feeling stuck. A simple yes/no turned into a spiral, my laptop failed, and plans fell through. I walked it off, imagined freedom, and still long to move out for good. Some classmates reminded me I may be aiming too far ahead. Even when I want to give up, I hold onto “what if tomorrow brings good news?”
Today was about perspective. I started tired but proud: I ate three meals, made it to the gym twice, got a facial, and even improvised a new “struggle meal” that turned out delicious. My laptop keyboard is still busted, but asking strangers for help reminded me I’m not alone. I’m hard on myself about my audition, but my sister saw perfection where I saw flaws. She reminded me that sometimes we need an outside perspective to see how well we’re really doing. My vision board feels huge: without debt, $250K, Broadway shows, my own company, but most of it is within reach. This episode is about shifting the lens: seeing abundance in strange places, creativity in tuna and eggs, and hope even when life feels scattered.
I pushed myself through bootcamp, auditions, rejections, and schoolwork all in one day, literally hungry for my “one shot.” Even tired, even spilling water on my laptop, I still turned in my best. I’m proud, I’m learning, and I’m still blooming like a lotus
