  • Episode 244: A Lot To Tell You

I tell you a story from my money challenge and then segue into the prompt from day 4 of shadow work and share the prompt from day 5.

Day 4: Repressed Emotions (AKA The Emotional Hoarders Club)

    Prompt:

What emotions do you tend to suppress? Anger? Sadness? That weird urge to punch a pillow while watching a rom-com? Take a moment to sit with your emotions today—yes, even the ugly ones. What do they want to tell you?

    Healing Activity:

Let’s get physical with our feelings. Punch a pillow. Scream into the void (or your bedroom). Maybe even get creative and make a “rage playlist” full of songs that let you unleash your inner wild beast. Afterward, treat yourself to something nurturing, like a hot bath or binge-watching your favorite comfort show.

  • Episode 243: Rest Is Healing

YW: Yawn Warning. I yawn a lot at the end so beware.

I recorded “Therapist Walks New Client Through Fear Responses” https://www.reddit.com/u/LotsOfGifts555/s/Mo1vg3Lh1D yesterday.

Today I decided to take a break from shadow work because I need to rest too. Instead I will share the day 4 shadow work prompt with you so you can do it with me tomorrow.

  • Episode 242: Home To You

Today I share 2 prompts with you from my money group and shadow work group as well as 30 seconds of the song “Home To You” by John Michael Montgomery.

Prompts from the money group: today’s practice is simple but powerful: *RECEIVE*

Notice how you react when something is given to you.

    A compliment. A favor. A gift.

Do you tense up? Say, “Oh, that's too much”?

    "You shouldn't have"?

Or do you soften, exhale, and let it land in your heart?

    Your invitation today:

    Let the love in.

    Say YES without guilt.

Let money, abundance, and support find you, and receive it like the sensual, worthy being you are.

And if nothing big comes your way?

Start small. Receive the warmth of the sun.

Receive the pleasure of your breath.

Receive the fact that you are already held.

Day 3: The Perfect “Perfectionist” Problem

    Prompt:

How often do you catch yourself aiming for perfection? Is your kitchen always spotless, or are you avoiding making that podcast episode because it’s “not perfect enough”? Time to face the fact that “perfect” is overrated and, frankly, a bit exhausting.

    Healing Activity:

Pick something you’ve been avoiding because it “has to be perfect” and do it in a perfectly imperfect way. The more ridiculous, the better. Maybe it’s a half-scribbled drawing or a dance move that looks like a seizure. Post it online for a bonus healing moment. Perfection is overrated, but authenticity is gold.

  • Episode 241: Work In Progress

As I continue my shadow work journey by sharing it with you, today I wrote a love letter to money as well as the money lover meditation https://on.soundcloud.com/BMN39rgT6vXUBzrh7

Here’s today’s prompt and healing activity:

Day 2: The Fear of Failing (AKA The “Oops, I Messed Up” Monster)

    Prompt:

What’s your greatest fear about failure? Maybe it's getting a D on a test or showing up to a party and realizing you’re wearing the wrong outfit (no judgment here—happens to the best of us). Dig into this fear and see what it says about you. Is it real? Or is it just your inner drama queen throwing a tantrum?

    Healing Activity:

Find something small that you fear failing at and do it today. Maybe it’s singing in the shower or sending a funny meme to your crush. The point is: failure is not the end of the world. It’s just a plot twist. Celebrate your “failure” by treating yourself to something that makes you feel fabulous.

  • Episode 240: Shadow Work Day 1

On this first day of March, I introduce my theme for the month “Motivated Miracles and share day 1 of shadow work where I introduce my inner critic and let them know they are hereby being evicted from my head.

Day 1: Meet Your Inner Critic

    Prompt:

We all have that voice—the one that says, “You’re not good enough,” or “You’ll never be as cool as those people on Instagram.” Yeah, that one. Time to have a sit-down with it. What does it say? Who does it remind you of? (Hint: It’s probably a mix of that one teacher in high school and a judgmental houseplant.)

    Healing Activity:

Write a letter to your inner critic. Tell it that you’re aware of its existence and that you’re no longer accepting unsolicited opinions from imaginary naysayers. You can even give it a name (like Steve, Karen, or Reginald—because Reginald just sounds like someone who would criticize your latte art). Finish with a hug.
