Write about your relationship with perfectionism. When was the last time you tried to be perfect, and how did that work out for you? How could embracing imperfection lead to freedom?
Healing Activity:
Pick one area where you usually try to be perfect, and today, do it imperfectly on purpose. Whether it’s a meal, a project, or a conversation—embrace the chaos and let yourself not be perfect.

Prompt:
When was the last time you thought “I’m not enough”? What were you measuring yourself against? What would it look like if you realized you are enough, right here, right now?
Healing Activity:
Write a letter to yourself from the future, saying how proud you are of who you’ve become and all the things you’ve already achieved. Keep it as a reminder that you’re always enough.

I received some encouragement today and the reminder to celebrate myself even when I am in the valley between the mountain peaks. I also share a post from @ashleyscully_: a conversation between my guardian angel and my parents.

I’m going to be a guest on the NFS podcast tomorrow and I’m a little nervous because the host is a good interviewer and it makes me wonder if he will ask a question that will make me cry. I share about my day through day 19 of shadow work.
Day 19: The "Self-Sabotage Club"
Prompt:
When was the last time you self-sabotaged? What made you do it? Write about your patterns of self-sabotage and how they have been protecting you from something, like fear of failure or success? Can you reframe the self-sabotage as a tool for learning?
Healing Activity:
Create a “Self-Sabotage Banishment Ritual.” Write down the actions or thoughts you engage in when you self-sabotage. Then, symbolically “release” them by burning the or shredding it ceremoniously.

Right around the 4:15 minute ish mark, it goes quiet aka there is nothing wrong with the sound. Day 18 of shadow work has me sharing a story you may not know about me.
Day 18: The "Fear of Change" Paradox
Prompt:
Write about a time you resisted change because it scared you. What were you afraid would happen? How could you make peace with change, even if it’s uncomfortable?
Healing Activity:
Create a “Change Affirmation” card that you can carry with you. Write something like, “I welcome change because it means I’m growing!” Pull it out anytime you feel resistant to change and repeat it like a mantra.

I sent you tonight’s message earlier than usual in an attempt to get more rest as I recover from my workout. Today was day 17 of shadow work and here is the prompt.
Day 17: The "Inner Critic Gets a Name" Challenge
Prompt:
Name your inner critic. Does it have a nickname, a face, a voice? Write down a conversation you’d have with this critic if it were a person. What would you tell them to stop doing? How could you disarm them with humor?
Healing Activity:
Draw or create a puppet of your inner critic. Make them as silly as possible—think exaggerated features or ridiculous outfits. Keep it somewhere visible to remind yourself that your inner critic is nothing to be afraid of.

Day 16: The "Why Do I Fear Success?" Conundrum
Prompt:
Do you ever fear success as much as failure? Write about a time you held back from something because you were afraid of succeeding. What did that fear look like? Could success actually bring you joy, rather than stress?
Healing Activity:
Create a "Success Jar." Write down one small success or win each day, no matter how small. Whenever fear of success pops up, open the jar and read through your victories.

Day 15: The "Oops, I Did It Again" Moment
Prompt:
What’s a habit or pattern you keep repeating that you wish you could stop? What do you think it’s trying to teach you? Get playful: how could you turn this pattern into a lesson rather than a mistake?
Healing Activity:
Every time you catch yourself repeating the habit today, take a 5-minute dance break to shake it off. The sillier, the better! Afterward, write down one small step you can take to change the pattern next time.
