  • S3x3 "A Day in the Strife"
    (00:00:00) Zocalo
    (01:11:18) Grey Council

So many plots, one very annoying probe, and a Londo who is very much reaping what he sows - this week on Babble On, Jenny, Jenn, Gus, and Ali break down Babylon 5 Season 3, Episode 3, "A Day in the Strife."

We debate whether the alien probe plotline earned its place in an already packed episode, dig into what the crew actually wanted more of (G'Kar's situation on the station, Vir's departure to Minbar, Franklin's quietly escalating stims problem), and appreciate a small but beautifully played scene between Delenn and Londo that says more than it seems to.

Also: a serious conversation about what 22-episode seasons meant for working actors, the return of a familiar face under very different prosthetics, and a kangaroo biology tangent that made complete sense at the time.
