In this weeks episode I am interviewing Jack Markwardt who majored in history and languages at Rutgers University and received his Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from Albany Law School where he had served as an editor and author of the Law Review. He has studied the Shroud of Turin for more than thirty-five years, written many articles on the subject, and presented a number of scholarly papers to international symposia held in France, Italy, and the United States.
His recently-published book, The Hidden History of the Shroud of Turin, details the first fourteen centuries of the relic’s history and explains the attempts which were made, throughout this period, to conceal its existence and provenance.
