This episode starts off with Calum, the dreamy magically-roofied surfer boy, arguing with his best friend Toby about whose towel is bigger. Definitely no metaphors there. Autumn brings Violet over from the 2nd dimension and the two heroines meet for the first time. The vampires and sage, despite their similarities regarding their mistreatment of women, keep butting heads. One of Kaspar's friends tries assaulting Autumn, because we literally can't go 1 chapter in one of Abigail's books without someone getting assaulted. Also the more power Autumn gets, the more sexist she herself becomes.

The prince gets more creepy towards Autumn the more she asserts her boundaries; totally a great foundation for a healthy relationship. This book also copies off of the last one by having the main character be an annoying vegan; I have nothing against vegans, but the author just might since she insists on making them all so annoying in her books. Also like the last book, the male characters keep tip-toeing around the age of consent
