A diagnosis of infertility can leave you feeling like you are broken and need to be fixed.
It can drive a knife through your deepest dream and leave you terrified it’ll never happen.
That’s why it is so tempting to do what the “experts” say, even when what they say doesn’t feel right inside.
Most of us were raised to believe that when you are sick, you go to the doctor and they fix you.
So, it’s natural to conclude that if infertility is a medical condition, then the doctor should be able to fix it.
But, sadly, infertility is way more complex than that.
For many, many women it requires a more holistic and self-reflective approach.
Seen in the right light, this is a GOOD thing because it means that YOU are capable of discovering what you need to do to become the mom you are meant to be.
You are the BEST leader of your own bump squad and today’s episode is going to explain why that is true and get you excited for the empowering process you can choose to follow to become the mom you are meant to be.
For daily tips, inspiration and loads of information on how you can become a mom, follow me @badassfertility.

Are you trying to answer every question, dot every line and cross everything, thinking if you just push hard enough, sacrifice long enough, then somehow you will earn your way into motherhood?
On this journey there is SO much coming at you all the time that it’s normal to get lost and lose sight of what YOU really need versus what somebody else might need to do to beat the odds.
It’s common to become so afraid of never realizing your dream, that you try doing everything, like throwing spaghetti at the wall and seeing what sticks.
The downside of this method is that it’s stressful, exhausting, expensive and overwhelming, and when you’re stressed, exhausted, broke and overwhelmed, it’s even harder to get pregnant.
In today’s episode we look at how you can reduce the overwhelm by learning how to tune into the feminine side rather than living this journey from your masculine side.
Curious about what the heck that means? Then join us and find out!

Jealousy on the fertility journey is natural.
But just because it’s natural doesn’t mean that you need to be a victim of it whenever jealousy rears its ugly head.
In fact, there are mindset tools that can change your experience of this emotion.
In today’s episode I talk about three times when jealousy was really hard for me to deal with on my fertility journey, and I explain three tools that I used so that I was controlled by my jealousy and I could live happier and more freely.

Several years ago, I stopped using the word infertility. I realized it made me feel icky and broken. It’s also just plain not true for most women who are given that diagnosis.
In today’s episode we talk about how the words you use affect your thoughts and beliefs about what is possible for yourself. Therefore, you want to choose and use them consciously, not just regurgitate whatever you hear from your doctors.
In order to do things you’ve never done before, you have to do things you’ve never done before.
That means that to beat the odds on this journey, you have to develop the mindset for thinking outside the box of what has historically been possible for you.
In today’s episode I will share some tiny steps you can take, like changing the words you use, to make a big impact right away.
