Linda Caro, owner of Little Hunnys Cakery, joins host Phil Longoria, and co-host Emmanuel Rodriguez tonight. Tonight we have Erika Castro, owner of Sweet Erika, joining guest host Destiny Lopez and host Manny Rodriguez. Erika started baking at a young age, but put her passion on hold to attend nursing school. Noticing that she wasn't happy, her mom urged her to quit nursing school and pursue baking as a career and Erika did just that. Erika started off by doing cakes for family and friends before finally selling her first cake about a year later. Erika talks about all the different trends in the baking world and how it is fun to try them, but that you should also pick a specialty and hone your craft because trends come and go.

Laura Barajas, owner of El Cafecito and Cakes B&G, joins our affable hosts Phil and Manny for our first ever LIVE DEMO on BITK. Listen in as Laura revisits this past year and how the pandemic impacted her businesses and how she, like so many others, had to adapt to fit the new needs of clients. Laura did whatever it took to keep her businesses up and running. With the nation opening again, Laura has restarted her classes. When asked about teaching classes and if she feels like she's creating competition in the baking world, Laura responded, "No. Your only competition is yourself because everyone puts their own unique touch on their creations.
