She is an Executive Pastry Chef and opened MORE Sweets as a way to create a new and personal bakery experience for her clients. She tells us about how her family has helped her thru creating her dream bakery and growing her successful business.

Hosting alongside Phil Longoria tonight is our very own social media expert, Destiny Lopez. They are joined by Alicia Mejivar, owner of Sugary Essentials. Join us as they discuss the intricacies of starting a business. The conversation revolves around how much time and investment goes into keeping a business up and running, how sometimes you need to find motivation from outside your business to keep growing your business, and how to gracefully overcome the hurdles of bad reviews.

Tonight on Bakers in the Kitchen Drinking Coffee we have Mandy & Stephanie who are the owners of Whisk’d Away, a custom dessert catering company in Downey, CA. They tell us all about how becoming co workers at a pie shop turned into catering desserts for a family party, and ultimately lead them to partnering up to create Whisk’d Away. Mandy and Stephanie are two peas in pod! They are currently working in a commercial kitchen and hope to one day open a brick and mortar store. They are featured on the Food Network on the Spring Baking Championship. We had a great time chatting with them about how it is to own a business with a partner!

Tonight on Bakers in the Kitchen Drinking Coffee we have Phillip Gomez from Patty’s Cakes joining us. We talk a little bit about the magic of baking, why food is so amazing from some places and not from others. Phillip talks to us about how he’s mastered the art of selling fresh made to order cupcakes daily and offering over 90 cupcake flavors! He offers his advice about running his 10 year business. He gives us an insight on what things are important to him to spend his money on to let his grow and succeed. We gained a real great insight from Phillip on what it takes to run such a successful business!

Tonight on Bakers in the Kitchen Drinking Coffee Sabrina Jurado joins us for the first segment to talk to us about her favorite treats to make for Easter. She also shares her favorite items to purchase at Bakers Bodega Express. Sabrina shares some of her special royal icing tips and tricks. Our special guest this week is Rocio from Kiki's Treats. She specializes in Custom Apples and Treats for every occasion. Rocio tells us all about how she got started and how she came to be featured on Telemundo Acceso Total on Channel 52. She also gives us some advice about turning her hobby into a jobby!

She is a professional pastry chef and cake designer that has created her own business making beautiful cakes. She gave us a lot of great advice about the do’s and don'ts of the industry.
